Man Stabbed During Argument inside Atlantic City Home

ATLANTIC CITY, NJ – An Atlantic City man has been arrested for a stabbing incident on Saturday.

Karahn D. Hinson, 47, was arrested after stabbing another man during an altercation, according to the Atlantic City Police Department.

“At approximately 5:13 PM, Officer Joseph Kelly Jr., while on routine patrol, observed a male collapse in the street in the area of Hummock Avenue and Dr. Martin Luther King Jr. Boulevard. Officer Kelly Jr. quickly learned that the 23-year old male from Atlantic City had suffered a stab wound to his chest and was bleeding heavily,” the Atlantic City Police Department said in a statement. “He further learned that the stabbing occurred inside a residence on the 1700 block of Logan Avenue. Officer Kelly Jr. rendered lifesaving medical aid to the victim by applying a chest seal to the puncture wound.”


The ACPD said, in a statement, additional patrol units were dispatched to the residence on Logan Avenue and arrived to find several individuals inside the home.

“Utilizing the loudspeaker on his patrol vehicle, Officer Ivaylo Ivanov commanded the individuals to exit the residence,” the department continued. “One of the individuals, 47 year old Karahn Hinson of Atlantic City, was identified as the suspect and taken into custody without incident.”
