Road Rage Leads To Fatal Shooting On I-76 In Mt. Ephraim

CAMDEN COUNTY, NJ – The NJ State Police is asking for assistance in a road rage investigation which left Louis E. Ciccanti Jr. dead from a gunshot wound in a single car crash in I76 on January 24, 2022 at approximately 10:30pm.

NJ State Troopers (troop A, Bellmawr Station) responded to a single vehicle crash on Interstate 76 eastbound at milepost 4 in Mount Ephraim where they found the single car crash and the victim fatally shot. Preliminary investigation reveals the road rage began on I76 near Passyunk Ave. in Philadelphia, PA. The Walt Whitman Bridge surveillance video shows both vehicles crossing the bridge into NJ continuing onto I76 east.

The victim was driving a 2004 Mercedes Benz 500. The other car, an unidentified black sedan, is shown in the photos below.
