Suspect in Custody After Fight Turns Deadly in Columbus

COLUMBUS, OH – A fight between two men escalated to murder according to the Columbus Police Department. On Tuesday, at 10:02PM, Columbus Police Officers were called to the 100 block of N. Wilson Rd. on a report of a shooting.

“Upon arrival, officers found the decedent, a 21-year-old male, suffering from an apparent gunshot wound. Franklin Township Medic 192 transported the male to Doctor’s West Hospital in critical condition, where he was pronounced deceased at 10:52 PM,” the department said. “The investigation revealed that 47-year-old Ronald Farrow and the decedent were involved in a fight when Farrow produced a handgun and shot the decedent, fatally wounding him. Mr. Farrow was arrested and charged him with murder for causing the decedent’s death. The decedent’s name is being withheld pending notification of next of kin.”
