Two Fugitive Women Wanted for Murder of Teen in West Virginia Captured in Delaware

DOVER, DE – Two women who were wanted in connection with the murder of a 13-year-old girl in West Virginia were located by U.S. Marshal’s officers in Delaware and arrested.

Last Thursday afternoon, the Bluefield Police Department reported the shooting death of a teenage victim who was in a car that was shot Wednesday night near the intersection of U.S. Route 460 and Cumberland Road in Bluefield.

She was transported to a hospital in Charleston and later died from her injuries.


“The Dover Police Department and United States Marshals Service (USMS) First State Fugitive Task Force arrested two women wanted for Murder in West Virginia on Wednesday evening,” the Dover Police Department said. “Isis Wallace, 22, and Nichole Brooks, 42, both of Bluefield, West Virginia, were wanted for the shooting death of a 13-year-old female victim in Bluefield on March 23rd, 2022.”

Officers from the Dover Police Department and U.S. Marshals Service conducted surveillance at the hotel before executing a search warrant and taking both suspects into custody.

Both suspects surrendered without incident. Brooks and Wallace will be held at Baylor Women’s Correctional Institution pending their extradition to West Virginia.
