ABERDEEN, NJ – The Aberdeen Police Department has released the following arrest report documenting crimes charged in the month of March 2022. These entries are provided as is and have not been edited or modified from their original format.

• On March 3rd, 2022 a 64-year-old male resident of Trenton, NJ was charged with contempt of court on warrants issued by the Aberdeen Township Municipal Court and Alpine Borough Municipal Courts. Ptl. Evan Tyler and Michael Monteiro were the arresting officers.
• On March 3rd, 2022 a 19-year-old male resident of Berlin, NJ was charged with violation of a court order following an incident on North Concourse. Ptl. William Novak was the arresting officer.
• On March 6th, 2022 a 50-year-old male resident of Jersey City, NJ was charged with violation of a court order following an incident on Brookside Avenue. Ptl. Jose Veliz was the arresting officer.
• On March 7th, 2022 a 25-year-old male resident of Aberdeen, NJ was charged with aggravated assault following an incident on South Atlantic Avenue. Ptl. Jose Veliz was the arresting officer.
• On March 8th, 2022 a 32-year-old male resident of Aberdeen, NJ was charged with robbery, criminal restraint, and simple assault following an incident on Charles Street. Ptl. Frank Maisano was the arresting officer.
• On March 8th, 2022 a 34-year-old male resident of Middletown, NJ was charged with hindering his apprehension and contempt of court on a warrant issued by the Monmouth County Prosecutor’s Office following an incident on Cliffwood Avenue. Ptl. Frank Maisano was the arresting officer.
• On March 10th, 2022 a 42-year-old male resident of Asbury Park, NJ was charged with simple assault and possession of a weapon for an unlawful purpose following an incident on State Highway 35. SLEO II Michael Meany and Det. Bruce Monro were the arresting officers.
• On March 10th, 2022 a 17-year-old male juvenile resident of Keansburg, NJ was charged with possession of a weapon and possession of a weapon for an unlawful purpose following an incident on State Highway 35. Ptl. Michael Monteiro was the arresting officer.
• On March 14th, 2022 a 30-year-old female resident of Aberdeen, NJ was charged with simple assault, disorderly conduct, criminal mischief, possession of CDS (heroin) and possession of drug paraphernalia. Ptl. Vincent Schifini was the arresting officer.
• On March 14th, 2022 a 45-year-old male resident of Aberdeen, NJ was charged with contempt of court on a warrant issued by the Freehold Borough Municipal Court. Ptl. Frank Maisano was the arresting officer.
• On March 14th, 2022 a 24-year-old male resident of Matawan, NJ was charged with contempt of court on a warrant issued by the Matawan Borough Municipal Court following an incident on State Highway 35. Ptl. Christopher Shaw was the arresting officer.
• On March 15th, 2022 a 29-year-old male resident of Keansburg, NJ was charged with driving while intoxicated following a motor vehicle accident on State Highway 35. Ptl. Ronald Osadacz was the arresting officer.
• On March 17th, 2022 a 48-year-old male resident of Holmdel, NJ was charged with contempt of court on a warrant issued by the Pompton Lakes Municipal Court. Ptl. John Palumbo was the arresting officer.
• On March 19th, 2022 a 24-year-old male resident of Matawan, NJ was charged with violation of a court order following an incident on Edgeview Road. Ptl. Benjamin Cleaves was the arresting officer.
• On March 20th, 2022 a 31-year-old male resident of Belmar, NJ was charged with simple assault following an incident on Atlantic Avenue. Ptl. William Novak was the arresting officer.
• On March 23rd, 2022 a 49-year-old male resident of Aberdeen, NJ was charged with possession of CDS, distribution of CDS and CDS paraphernalia following an incident on Kennedy Avenue. Det. Henry Chevalier was the arresting officer.
• On March 23rd, 2022 a 59-year-old female resident of Aberdeen, NJ was charged with simple assault following an incident on Avondale Lane. Ptl. Thomas Wagner was the arresting officer.
• On March 23rd, 2022 a 41-year-old female resident of Aberdeen, NJ was charged with criminal mischief and burglary following an incident on Kennedy Avenue. Ptl. Christopher Shaw was the arresting officer.
• On March 28th, 2022 a 61-year-old female resident of Aberdeen, NJ was charged with driving while intoxicated following an incident on Incline Place. Ptl. John Palumbo was the arresting officer.

It should be noted that all arrestees are presumed innocent until found guilty in a court of law.

Officers responded to or initiated 1,281 calls for service between March 1st, 2022 and March 31st, 2022, including 46 motor vehicle accidents; 53 alarms (house/fire); 3 assaults; 2 burglary reports; 6 criminal mischief; 11 crisis interventions; 29 disorderly persons; 15 domestic disputes; 10 fire calls, 101 first aid calls; 8 frauds; 12 harassments; 0 M.V thefts; 3 narcotics; 15 thefts; 3 trespassing; 30 suspicious person/vehicle and 17 welfare checks.


Officers issued 173 summonses and conducted 304 motor vehicle stops.
