BENCH WARRANTS SERVED

On Monday, April 11, 2022, the Cumberland Police Department served two bench warrants on Joshua Buzzard. The warrants were issued as a result of Buzzard failing to appear for his court cases. In one case, he was originally charged with Theft of $100 to under $1500, and in the other case, he was originally charged with Malicious Destruction of Property less than $1000. Buzzard was released on his personal recognizance.

On Monday, April 11, 2022, the Cumberland Police Department served three bench warrants on Justin Parr. The warrants were issued as a result of Parr violating his probation. Parr was originally charged with 2 counts of Theft less $100 and Theft Scheme: $1500 to under $25,000. Parr was later taken before a District Court Commissioner and remanded to the Allegany County Detention Center held without bond.

ARRESTED: Justin Wayne Parr AGE: 32 Cumberland, MD

On Monday, April 11, 2022, the Cumberland Police Department served a bench warrant on Robert Vincent. The warrant was issued as a result of Vincent violating his probation. Vincent was originally charged with a DUI offense. Vincent was later taken before a District Court Commissioner and remanded to the Allegany County Detention Center held without bond.

ARRESTED: Robert Christopher Vincent AGE: 28 Cumberland, MD

On Monday, April 11, 2022, the Cumberland Police Department served a bench warrant on Steven Jenkins. The warrant was issued as a result of Jenkins failing to appear for his court case. Jenkins was originally charged with Theft of $100 to under $1500 and Theft of less than $100. Jenkins was later seen by a District Court Commissioner and released on his personal recognizance.

ASSAULT ARREST

On Monday, April 11, 2022, at approximately 6:17 AM, officers of the Cumberland Police Department responded to a residence on Potomac Street for an assault. Upon their arrival, they contacted one of the residents who reported that Dustin Walk woke him up, jumped on him, and repeatedly struck him all over his body with open hands and closed fists. The victim explained to the officers that he was able to break free from the assault and call the police. After further investigation, Walk was arrested and transported to the police station for processing. Walk was later seen by a District Court Commissioner and released on his personal recognizance.

ARREST WARRANT SERVED

On Tuesday, April 12, 2022, the Cumberland Police Department served an arrest warrant on Shane Oester. The warrant was issued as a result of a private citizen filing charges against Oester at the District Court of Allegany County. Oester was arrested and later seen by a District Court Commissioner for his initial hearing. Oester was remanded to the Allegany County Detention Center, held without bond.

CHARGES: Motor Vehicle/Unlawful Taking, Theft: $100 to under $1500, Unauthorized Removal of Motor Vehicle

TRESPASSING ARREST

On Tuesday, April 12, 2022, at approximately 11:23 AM, an officer of the Cumberland Police Department observed Logan Aldrich walking on CSX Property in the area of Park Street. The area is posted as “No Trespassing”. Aldrich was issued a criminal citation and released pending trial at District Court.

DISORDERLY CONDUCT ARREST

On Tuesday, April 12, 2022, at approximately 6:10 PM, officers of the Cumberland Police Department responded to the first block of Grand Avenue for a disturbance. Upon their arrival, witnesses advised that Jesse Colosimo was in a verbal argument with another person. Officers attempted to speak with Colosimo, but he was uncooperative. Officers attempted to calm down Colosimo multiple times, but were unable to do so. There was a crowd of people standing across the street witnessing Colosimo’s behavior. Colosimo was placed under arrest and transported to the police station. He was issued criminal citations and released pending trial at District Court.
