Police Investigating After Guns Stolen from Franklin Township Apartment

FRANKLIN TOWNSHIP, PA – Police are investigating a burglary that resulted in the theft of multiple firearms.

“On March 30, 2022 at approximately 11:06 AM the Northern York County Regional Police Department investigated a burglary that occurred in the 700 block of South Mountain Rd. in Franklin Township. The burglary occurred at the Highland Park Apartments complex,” the NYCRPD said. “Two unknown male actors pictured above forced entry into an apartment by prying open the front door. The actors stole one hunting rifle, two shotguns, and five pellet guns from the home.”

In a statement police said witnesses observed the actors flee the apartment complex on foot. The suspects were observed getting in the tan Honda sedan pictured above. The Honda was last seen driving on South Mountain Rd. towards Rt. 15. The identity of the driver of the getaway vehicle is also unknown at this time. The owner of the suspect vehicle is still unknown at this time.
