Homicide Suspect Rammed Police Car Before Being Shot by Cop

DUNDALK, MD – A fugitive wanted for a 2021 murder attempted to flee police, ramming one police cruiser before being shot by a Baltimore police officer.

The Baltimore County Police Department said at approximately 1:00 p.m., Thursday afternoon, Baltimore County detectives were in the area of Avon and Maryland Avenues in Dundalk attempting to arrest a suspect in connection to a 2021 homicide.

“During his apprehension, a vehicle on scene began ramming a police vehicle at which time detectives discharged their firearms striking the driver inside the vehicle,” The BCPD said. “Officers immediately rendered aid to the suspect who medics later transported to an area hospital. Per department policy, the officers have been placed on routine administrative duty.”
