Woman Shot in Southeast D.C.

WASHINGTON, D.C. – The Washington, D.C. Metro Police Department is investigating a shooting which took place on April 13th, leaving one woman hospitalized. This incident occurred on the 2500 Block of Pomeroy Road in Southeast, D.C.

According to Police, “At approximately 1:03 am, members of the Seventh District responded to the listed location for the report of a shooting.  Upon their arrival, members located an adult female victim suffering from a gunshot wound.  The victim was transported to a local hospital for treatment of non-life threatening injuries.”

A nearby surveillance camera captured a person of interest.
