Man in Camouflage Pants, Face Mask Fired Multiple Round, Eluded Police

UTICA, NY – A Utica neighborhood in the area of Orchard Street and Lenox Avenue was woken early Saturday morning to the sounds of gunfire.

According to police, at approximately 7:50 AM Utica police officers responded to the intersection of Orchard St and Lenox Ave for reported shots fired,” the Utica Police Department said. “Upon arrival, it was learned that there was an argument amongst two parties and during the argument, a male attired in camouflage pants and a green face mask was brandishing a long rifle and fired multiple rounds.”

Upon searching for evidence, the officers located seven 7spent .22 casings on the 700 block of Lenox Ave.
