CUMBERLAND, MD – The Cumberland Police Department has released the following police reports.

Disorderly Conduct/Destruction of Property

The Cumberland Police were called to a business on the 400 block of Maryland Ave for a report of a disorderly subject. Upon arrival, the officers learned that the subject had broken a display rack in the business and caused a disturbance with employees and other customers. He had already left the area. Officers were able to identify James Robert Michael Langway, age 33 of Cumberland, MD on the surveillance video. Langway was located a short time later on Park St. He was again creating a disturbance, yelling at passing vehicles and throwing garbage in a parking lot. He was placed under arrest and taken to Central Booking for his initial appearance with the District Court Commissioner. Langway was charged with two counts of Disorderly Conduct, Destruction of Property, and Littering. He was held on a temporary bond.

Arrest Warrant Served

The Cumberland Police served an Arrest Warrant on Timothy Allen Revels, age 47, of Cumberland MD. The warrant charged Revels with Fail to Appear for an original charge of Fail to Send Child to School. He was taken to Central Booking for his initial appearance with the District Court Commissioner and was released on his own recognizance.

Motor Vehicle Accident

The Cumberland Police responded to Riehl Ave for a motor vehicle accident, with a female trapped under the vehicle. The police assisted the Cumberland Fire Department with extricating the female victim. She advised that her vehicle began to slide backwards down the street and was unable to get out of the way. She was not injured.
