Woman Robbed While Load Groceries in Car on Broad Street

PHILADELPHIA, PA – The Philadelphia Police Department reported a strongarm robbery on Broad Street last week and released video surveillance footage of the suspect today.

According to police, On April 15, 2022, at 7:49 PM at 4424 N Broad Street, two unknown offenders robbed the complainant. Surveillance video recovered shows two unknown black males waiting outside a convenience store parking lot.

“When the complainant exits and begins to pack her car offender#1 rips her purse from her. The two unknown offenders later get into a gray sedan (possibly a gray Honda) and flee the area south on Broad St. These males are suspects in five other similar type robberies in the area over the last two weeks,” the department said.

One suspect is described as a black male late teens/early 20’s wearing a black hoodie with small white print on front and back also wearing black pants with white stripes down the legs. The other suspect was identified as a black male late teens/early 20’s wearing a black hoodie with large white line on front and sleeve.
