Man Shot in Driveby Shooting in Columbus

COLUMBUS, OH – A man shot in a driveby shooting in Columbus said he was just walking down the street when a car drove up alongside him and shot him.

On April 25, 2022 at approximately 3:46 p.m., Columbus Police Patrol officers were dispatched to the area of E. Livingston Avenue and Fairwood Avenue on a report of a shooting. Upon the officers’ arrival they located the victim suffering from a gunshot wound.

The victim stated he was walking in the area of E. Livingston Avenue and Fairwood Avenue when he was shot by the front seat passenger of a blue Buick LeSabre. The vehicle fled the scene by going west on E. Livingston Avenue. The victim was transported to a local area hospital in stable condition and is expected to survive his injuries.
