39 Year-Old Woman Stabbed To Death in D.C., Suspect Arrested

WASHINGTON, D.C. – The Washington D.C. Metro Police Department have made an arrest in the homicide of a 39 year-old woman in Northeast D.C.. This incident took place on the 1500 Block of Benning Road on April 27th.

According to investigators, “At approximately 2:52 am, members of the Fifth District responded to the listed location for the report of a stabbing. Upon arrival, members located an adult female victim, inside a residence, suffering from an apparent stab wound. DC Fire and Emergency Medical Services responded to the scene and after finding no signs consistent with life, the victim was transported to the Office of the Chief Medical Examiner.”

 39-year-old Ladonia Boggs, of Northeast, D.C. was named as the victim.

Also on April 27th, 44 year-old Carl Jones, of Northeast, D.C. was arrested and charged with Second Degree Murder while Armed. The detectives’ believe that this offense resulted from a domestic dispute.
