Howard County Crime Report: April 26th

HOWARD COUNTY, MD – The Howard County Police Department has made public the following criminal encounters on April 25th and 26th.

“The daily crime bulletin is posted each weekday when county offices are open and includes the initial reporting of various crimes such as robberies, burglaries, assaults, vehicle thefts, and theft from vehicles. It is not inclusive of all police activity in a day,” HCPD said.

Commercial burglary
Columbia, 21044:
 Sunoco, 6400 block of Freetown Road, April 26 3:30 a.m.
Unknown suspect(s) entered the business by breaking the glass door and stole cigarettes. 


Theft from vehicle/vehicle break-in
Ellicott City, 21042:
 3100 block of Pine Orchard Lane, April 25, purse

Columbia, 21044: 10300 block of Little Patuxent Parkway, April 25, nothing reported stolen

Jessup, 20794: 9900 block of Guilford Road, April 25-26 overnight, unclear what, if anything, was stolen

Elkridge, 21075: 7200 block of Montgomery Road, April 25-26, bag

Hanover, 21076: 6000 block of River Birch Court, April 25-26 overnight, purse
