Dalessandro’s Steaks Latest Victim of Philadelphia Serial Burglar

PHILADELPHIA, PA – Philadelphia police today said a man suspected of other commercial robberies in the city struck again, this time at Dalessandro’s Steaks on Wendover Street.

According to police, on April 16, at 3:30 AM, an unknown black male attempted to burglarize Dalessandro’s Steaks located at 600 Wendover Street.

“Video surveillance recovered shows the offender parking a dented blue or gray box van. He then attempts to break the lock to the front door with an unknown object. After several minutes the male left the area in the van traveling southbound on Henry Ave,” police said. “This male is a suspect in three other similar type burglaries in the area over the last two weeks.”

The suspect was described as a black male who appears to be in his mid 30’s wearing a gray “GAP” hoodie with a dark-colored jacket who fled the scene in a light-colored, possibly blue or gray box van with dents on the passenger side of the vehicle.
