Cumberland Crime Report: April 27, 2022

CUMBERLAND, MA – The Cumberland Police Department has released three incident reports for police responses on April 27, 2022. You can read those reports in their entirety below.

Arrest Warrant Served

The Cumberland Police served an Arrest Warrant on Todd Michael Reed, age 57, of Cumberland MD. The Warrant was issued as a result of a Grand Jury Indictment and charged Reed with Possession of CDS not Marijuana and Possession of CDS with the Intent to Distribute. He was taken to Central Booking and is currently being held without bond.

Criminal Summons Served

The Cumberland Police served a Criminal Summons on John Michael Pinson, age 34, of Cumberland MD. The Summons charged Pinson with Disorderly Conduct due to an altercation that occurred on April 20th, at a public park in the City of Cumberland. The Summons was served and he was released pending trial.

The Cumberland Police served a Criminal Summons on Leah Stonestreet, age 57, of Cumberland MD. The Summons charged Stonestreet with Possession of Forged Currency. The charges were issued after Stonestreet passed several counterfeit bills at an area financial institution. She was served with the Summons and released pending trial in the matter.

Assault Arrest

The Cumberland Police responded to a residence on the 400 block of Columbia Ave for a report of a disturbance. Upon arrival, the officers spoke to the parties on scene. Through the investigation, it was learned that an argument took place between a male and female that lived at the residence. During the argument, the male struck the female. The officers observed injuries to the female that were consistent with her account of the incident. Based on the injuries, James Joseph Hartman-Nolan, age 23, was placed under arrest for Second Degree Assault. He was taken to Central Booking for his initial appearance with the District Court Commissioner. He was released on his own recognizance.
