77-Year-Old Man Beaten, Kicked and Robbed in New York City

NEW YORK, NY – The New York City Police Department is investigating after a 77-year-old man was beaten and robbed on Grand Concourse in the Bronx.

Police said on Monday, at approximately 1:30 PM, in front of 1299 Grand Concourse in the Bronx, the suspect punched a 77-year-old male in the face, then kicked him in the face, and attempted to remove his property.”

The suspect appeared to be having a heated discussion with the man, who was walking with a cane, before punching him. After the man fell to the ground, the suspect kicked him and fled the scene.
