Lakehurst Crime Rundown: April 2022

LAKEHURST, NJ – The Lakehurst Police Department has announced the following crimes borough officers responded to in the month of April 2022.

DWI ARREST- On 4/2/22, PO Harry Paul conducted a motor vehicle stop on Route 37. The driver, a 53 year old male, was operating a Can Am ATV erratically. It was determined that the male was operating the vehicle under the influence and was placed under arrest for DWI. He was transported to police headquarters and later released.

WARRANT ARREST- On 4/5/22, PO Anthony Florio conducted a motor vehicle stop on Route 70. The driver, a 58 year old male, was placed under arrest for an active traffic warrant. He was transported to police headquarters and released.

WARRANT ARREST- On 4/13/22, a 51 year old female was placed under arrest at police headquarters for an active criminal warrant. The female was later released.

WARRANT ARREST- On 4/17/22, Po Gavin Cecchini conducted a motor vehicle stop on Rt 547. The driver, a 34 year old female, was placed under arrested for an active traffic warrant. She was transported to police headquarters and released.

SIMPLE ASSAULT- On 4/19/22, Lakehurst officers responded to a residence on Union Ave for a disturbance. A 58 year old male was placed under arrest for simple assault. The male was transported to police headquarters and later released.

AGGRAVATED ASSAULT- On 4/21/22, Officers responded to a disturbance at Lovely Laundry. A 56 year old male was placed under arrest for aggravated assault. The male was transported to police headquarters and lodged at the Ocean County Jail.

WARRANT ARREST- On 4/23/22, PO Tyler Sypniewski conducted a traffic stop on Route 70. The driver, a 23 year old male, was placed under arrest for an active traffic warrant. The male was transported to police headquarters and later released.
