14-Year-Old Girl Killed After Teen Fired Shots Into Crowd in Toledo

TOLEDO, OH – A 14-year-old girl is dead after a teen gunman fired shots into a crowd of people on a Toledo street corner Friday night. The shooting, according to police took place at around 8:30 p.m..

Upon arrival, police found 14-year-old Zhonasia Ticey with a gunshot wound. She was rushed to Mercy Health St. Vincent Medical Center where she later died.

Hours later, police arrested Jeano Lampkin, 18, and charged him with murder. It is not clear why Lampkin fired into the crowd or who his intended target was at this time.
