Baltimore Firefighters Find Man Shot To Death At Abandoned Structure Fire

BALTIMORE, MARYLAND – The Baltimore Police Department is investigating a homicide that took place on May 8th. This incident happened on the 300 block of Furrow Street in Southwest Baltimore. The case is being investigated by the Homicide Branch and the Arson Branch.

According to detectives, “At approximately 7:21 p.m., Southwest District patrol officers were dispatched to the 300 block of Furrow Street to assist fire department personnel. Initially, the fire department was dispatched to the location to extinguish a fire of a vacant dwelling. Once inside the dwelling, fire department personnel discovered the body of a deceased unidentified male. The deceased male had apparent gunshot wounds. Homicide and Arson investigators responded to the scene and assumed control over the investigation.”
