Baltimore Police Arrest Repeat Violent Offender In Shooting of 26 Year-Old Man


BALTIMORE, MARYLAND – The Baltimore Police Department have made an arrest in the Attempted Murder of 26 year-old man on May 4th. This incident happened on the 2400 Block of Greenmount Avenue in Eastern Baltimore.

Detectives believe that 30 year-old Antionne Johnson Jr shot the victim multiple times. Johnson Jr. is a repeat violent offender.

According to investigators, “At approximately 11:05 a.m., officers responded to the 2400 block of Greenmount Avenue for a shooting. Upon arrival, officers located a 26-year-old male who was suffering from gunshot wounds. The victim was transported to an area hospital and is in serious but stable condition.”

Police transported Johnson to Central Booking Intake Facility. He has been charged with Attempted 1st degree murder. This incident remains under investigation.
