Three People Shot in Pittsburgh, One Killed

PITTSBURGH, PA – Three people were shot and one was killed in a shooting in the 700 block of E. Warrington Avenue at 6:15 p.m. Police were alerted to multiple shots fired via a Shotspotter alert.

“Arriving units located three victims who had suffered gunshot wounds.A male was pronounced deceased at the scene,” police said. “The victim’s identity will come from the Allegheny County Medical Examiner’s Office.

According to police, a second male victim received gunshot wounds to the upper body. He was transported to the hospital by medics in critical, but stable condition. A female was grazed in the leg and transported in stable condition.

Detectives from the Violent Crimes Unit are investigating. There are no suspect descriptions to provide at this time.
