U.S. Marshals Offering Reward for Capture of Woman Wanted for Murder in Akron

AKRON, OH – The U.S. Marshals are offering a cash reward for information leading to the arrest of Leslie Lopez, a fugitive wanted for the murder of an Akron man on his front porch in January.

According to police, Lopez is wanted for failure to appear for aggravated murder.

“Lopez is suspected of being involved in a shooting that took place in the 2100 block of 12th Street SW in Akron. The incident occurred at 11:40 pm on Saturday, January 29th,” the Akron Police Department said. “A 26-year-old man had been shot while standing on a front porch of a residence. He was transported to Akron General Medical Center and died later from his injuries.”

According to police, Lopez, 25, is a white female, standing approximately 5 feet 5 inches and weighing about 125 lbs. She was last known to be living in the Cleveland and Akron, Ohio areas.
