Two 16 Year-Olds Arrested And Charged in D.C Shooting

WASHINGTON, D.C. – The Washington, D.C. Metro Police Department have made an arrest in the May 3rd shooting of a man in Northeast D.C.. This incident took place on the 3800 Block of Jay Street.

According to police, “At approximately 8:24 pm, members of the Sixth District responded to the listed location for the report of a shooting. Upon arrival, members located an adult male victim, suffering from apparent gunshot wounds. The victim was transported to a local hospital for treatment of non-life-threatening injuries.”

16-year-old juvenile male of Southeast D.C. , and a 16-year-old juvenile male, of Northeast, D.C. were arrested on May 3rd and charged with Assault with a Dangerous Weapon.


Police think that the victim and suspects were familiar to each other.
