14 Year-Old Female Arrested in Southeast D.C. For Armed Carjacking of Rideshare Driver

WASHINGTON, D.C. – The Washington D.C. Metro Police Department have made an arrest in an Armed Carjacking which took place on April 7th. This incident happened on the 800 block of Chesapeake Street in Southeast, D.C..

According to detectives, “At approximately 2:59 am, the suspects approached the victim, who was a rideshare driver, at the listed location.  One of the suspects brandished a knife and ordered the victim to exit the vehicle.  The victim complied and the suspects fled the scene in the victim’s vehicle. The vehicle has been recovered.”

 A 14-year-old juvenile female, of Southeast, DC, was arrested on May 10th and charged with Armed Carjacking.
