Newark, DE- A motor vehicle crash with serious injuries was reported Saturday by the Delaware State Police that forced the closure of Old Baltimore Pike.
The Delaware State Police arrived at the scene of a serious injury collision on Old Baltimore Pike. As a result, all lanes of Old Baltimore Pike in the area of Aspen Drive were for an extended period of time. Motorists were urged to seek alternate routes of travel to avoid delays.
At this time, police have not released any details of the crash, saying a statement will be made once the investigation on site has been completed.
“This collision is in the early stages of the investigation. Additional details will be released once they become available,” DSP said.
