COLUMBUS, OH – Their first mistake was robbing a victim’s work truck Tuesday morning. Their second mistake was robbing a work truck that was loaded with a cab camera, dashboard traffic cam and GPS tracking device.

That oversight by two men has given police in Columbus all the need to make an arrest, but first, they have to identify the men. Today, they are asking for the public’s help in doing so.

“On May 16th, 2022 at approximately 6:26am the victim stated his work truck was stolen from in front of his house,” CPD said in a statement. “The victim stated the vehicle was equipped with a GPS tracker and dash camera. The victim was able to locate and recover the vehicle by GPS tracker. The victim was then able to obtain the video from the dash camera of the suspects inside the vehicle.”
