EVESHAM, NJ – The Evesham Police Department arrested 70-year-old Michael Swift of Burlington City today for a robbery he committed in November.

According to police, on November 15, at 4:58 PM, Evesham Police responded to 235 North Maple Avenue, Rite Aid, for a report of a robbery.

“Upon arrival, it was determined that the suspect produced a note to the cashier with threatening remarks and demanding cigarettes and the money from the cash register. After being provided with those items, the suspect fled the scene on foot towards 100 Church Road. A K9 track led to an item of evidence that was secured for future testing and additional evidence was collected at the scene,” police said.
