New Jersey Man Charged for Burglarizing Multiple Liquor Stores in New Castle

NEW CASTLE, DE – A 56-year-old Bridgeton, New Jersey man, Jay Boyce was extradited to Delaware on Thursday after being charged as the suspect in multiple liquor store burglaries in the New Castle and Bear area of Delaware.

According to police, the five incidents occurred throughout the month of October 2021, when Delaware State Police troopers began investigating a rash of burglaries to liquor stores in the New Castle and Bear area.

“Through investigative measures, Boyce was identified as the suspect. Boyce was extradited back to Delaware and turned over to the Delaware State Police. Boyce was transported back to Troop 6 where he was charged,” the Delaware State Police said Thursday.
