PEMBERTON TOWNSHIP, NJ – Police in Pemberton say a fox, possible sick or in distress has been sighted and is still roaming about in the woods in the township.

“The Pemberton Township Police Department observed a fox in the area of Pemberton-Browns Mills Rd near Main Street today which was acting strange,” the department said. “It ran into the woods behind the old Acme plaza before it was able to be captured. We are not sure if it is sick but we want the public to be aware and to remind everyone to steer clear of the wildlife in the area.”

The department did not yet capture the fox. Please contact 609-723-8300 if you happen to see it.
