38 Year-Old Man Shot In Southwest Baltimore

BALTIMORE, MARYLAND – The Baltimore Police Department is investigating a shooting which took place this morning, shortly after midnight. This incident happened in the vicinity of Wilkens at Monroe Street in Southwest, Baltimore.

According to police, “At approximately 1:39 a.m., Southwest District patrol officers responded to an area hospital for a report of a walk-in shooting victim. Once there, officers located a 38-year-old male suffering from an apparent non-life threatening gunshot wound. The victim stated that he was in the area of Wilkens at Monroe Street when he heard gunfire. The victim then traveled to the 400 block of South Bentalou Street when he realized he was shot.”
