After Being Shot Man Walks To Fire Station For Help In D.C.

WASHINGTON, D.C. – The Washington, D.C. Metro Police Department is investigating a shooting which took place yesterday, May 23rd. This incident happened on the 2600 block of Birney Place in Southeast, D.C.. Detectives seek the public’s assistance in identifying a vehicle in reference to the Assault.

According to investigators, “At approximately 11:46 am, members of the Seventh District were notified of adult male victim who walked in to a local fire station suffering from gunshot wounds. The victim was transported to a local hospital for treatment. Upon further investigation by detectives, it was determined that the offense occurred at the listed location.”

Nearby surveillance cameras captured the suspects vehicle.
