D.C. Police Need Help Identifying Bank Robber

WASHINGTON, D.C. – The Washington, D.C. Metro Police Department is investigating a bank robbery and an attempted bank robbery that took place yesterday in Southeast, D.C. Detectives are asking for assistance in identifying the suspect involved in the incidents.

According to police, “At approximately 12:01 pm, the suspect entered a bank in the 1500 block of Alabama Avenue, SE. The suspect passed a note to a teller demanding money. The teller did not comply. The suspect fled the scene without obtaining any property. At approximately 12:07 pm, the suspect entered a bank in the 2800 block of Alabama Avenue, SE. The suspect passed a note to the teller demanding money. The teller complied and the suspect fled the scene.”

A nearby surveillance camera captured the suspect on camera.
