WASHINGTON, D.C. – The Washington, D.C. Metro Police Department is investigating a shooting which took place on May 22nd. This incident happened on the 1300 block of 7th Street in Northwest, D.C.. The police are asking for help in identifying the suspect.
According to investigators, “At approximately 1:59 pm, members of the Third District responded to the listed location of the report of a shooting. Upon arrival, members located an adult female suffering from an apparent gunshot wound. The victim was transported to a local hospital for treatment of non-life-threatening injuries.”
Nearby surveillance cameras caught the suspect.
