Columbus Police Investigating Shooting on Parkwood Avenue

COLUMBUS, OH- Columbus Police officers responded to a local area hospital for a walk-in shooting victim last Friday. Officers made contact with the victim, who suffered one gunshot wound to the leg.

“The victim stated that he was walking to his vehicle when an unknown suspect fired a single gunshot, causing his injuries,” according to investigators. “The victim was unsure of the exact location of the shooting.”

The victim was said to be in stable condition and is expected to recover from his injuries. This incident is still under investigation.
