Philadelphia Mail Room Thief Being Sought by Police After Stealing Several Packages

PHILADELPHIA, PA – Philadelphia police are searching for a suspect who broke into a mail room and stole packages to be delivered to tenants.

On Saturday May 21, 2022, at 8:27 pm, an unknown black male offender an apartment building on the 3xx block of Race Street by following the tenants inside. Once in the building the suspect pried open the mail room door and took numerous packages belonging to the tenants. After taking the packages the suspect left the building in an unknown direction.

  • Suspect Description: Black male with short gray facial hair, thin build, wearing a dark “Polo” hat, white t-shirt, dark sweatpants with white stripes down the side and multi-color sneakers and a dark drawstring backpack with gray stripes on it.
