Somebody is Tagging Lacey Park Bathrooms with Graffiti

LACEY TOWNSHIP, NJ – Police in Lacey are investigating three instances of criminal mischief and graffiti to bathrooms at Gille Park on three different days. The incidents appear to be related.

On Monday, May 23, 2022, at 4:31 p.m., Officer Copes responded to Gille Park for a report of criminal mischief.  It was found that an unknown suspect spray painted on a piece of equipment.  An estimated value of damage was $50.00.

On Wednesday, May 25, 2022, at 7:16 p.m., Officer Hyle responded to Gille Park for a report of criminal mischief. Upon arrival, Officer Hyle observed graffiti located in the men’s bathroom, located by the tennis courts.  The estimated value of damage was $50.00.

On Thursday, May 26, 2022, at 12:48 a.m., while closing the Gille Park bathrooms, Officer Hyle observed graffiti in the men’s bathroom, located by the softball field.  The estimated value in damage was $50.00.
