16 Cars Damaged After Suspect Breaks Out Windows with Fire Extinguisher at Parking Garage

PITTSBURGH, PA – Police are seeking to identify a white male suspect who damaged 16 cars inside a Pittsburgh parking garage with a fire extinguisher.

According to police, just before 3:30 a.m., officers responded to the parking garage at 350 Oliver Avenue for reports of several vehicles that had been vandalized. Responding units found 16 vehicles with smashed windows.

The incident was captured on video which shows a male actor pictured below using a fire extinguisher to smash the windows but making no attempt to access the vehicles or steal contents.

Officers were able to make contact with the owners of three of the vehicles, while business cards were left on the others to contact police.


The investigation is ongoing.
