34 Year-Old Shot And Killed In Western Baltimore

BALTIMORE, MARYLAND – The Baltimore Police Department is investigating a homicide which took place this afternoon. This incident happened on the 2800 Block of Edmondson Avenue in Western Baltimore.

According to investigators, “At approximately 1:20 p.m., officers working in the Western District were conducting a warrant initiative when they heard gunfire. As officers approached the 2800 block of Edmondson Avenue, they located a 34-year-old male suffering from an apparent gunshot wound to the body. Medics arrived to the location and pronounced the victim dead on the scene. Homicide detectives are investigating this incident and are currently interviewing a possible person of interest.”
