Four Bronx Men Arrested in Stolen Car in New Rochelle

NEW ROCHELLE, NJ – Four Bronx men were arrested in a car stolen out of Bridgeport Connecticut on Wednesday, according to the New Rochelle Police Department.

“On May 31st at about 2:37 pm, the Westchester County Police Real Time Crime Center notified New Rochelle Police that a stolen vehicle was traveling into New Rochelle on Lincoln Avenue,” police said. ” New Rochelle Police Officers located the vehicle on North Avenue near the Intermodal Transportation Center parking garage and confirmed that the vehicle was stolen out of Bridgeport.”

A felony car stop was conducted, and the 4 male occupants of the vehicle were placed under arrest.  A search of the vehicle revealed numerous stolen debit cards, fraudulent drivers’ licenses, stolen checks, and drugs.


Bakary Ceesay, 27; Edirissa Fall, 27; Richard Bah, 18; and Asif Zakaria, 23, all from the Bronx were arrested and charged.
