Two Teenagers arrested for guns and drugs in Hamilton

HAMILTON TOWNSHIP (CAPE MAY), NJ – Two teenagers were arrested on gun and drug charges in Hamilton Township on Thursday.

According to police, at 6:47pm, officers responded to 5303 Harding Highway regarding a 9-1-1 call reporting threats. 

“Officers arrived on scene and during the course of their investigation, located a .40 caliber handgun, a .223 caliber rifle, and a quantity of narcotics and cash,” police reported. “As a result, Eric Perez, 23/M of Mays Landing, Jermaine Philo, 23/M of Egg Harbor City, a 15 year-old male and 16 year-old male, both of Mays Landing, were taken into custody. “

The two juveniles were lodged in Harborfields Atlantic Youth Center however, both juveniles have since been released. Perez and Philo were lodged in the Atlantic County Justice Facility pending court.
