Pedestrian Struck and Killed in Plum

PLUM, PA – A man has been struck and killed by a passing vehicle in Plum, according to the Allegheny Police Department’s Homicide Unit.

According to police, at approximately 11:18 pm county 9-1-1 was notified of a vehicle vs pedestrian collision in the 2200 block of Golden Mile Highway.

“First responders found a single-vehicle vs. pedestrian collision. The pedestrian victim, a male, was transported to an area hospital where he was pronounced deceased,” police said. “The driver of the vehicle remained on scene. Homicide detectives and collision reconstruction officers have initiated an investigation.”
