Pedestrian Struck, in Critical Condition in McKeesport

MCKEESPORT, PA – A woman was struck by a car and is in the hospital in critical condition after a collision that occurred Monday afernoon.

The Allegheny County Police Department’s Homicide Unit and Collision Reconstruction Unit reported, “At approximately 3:12 pm on June 13, 2022, County 9-1-1 was notified of a motor vehicle vs. pedestrian collision in the 800 block of Lysle Blvd.”

First responders found an adult female victim who was struck by a Cadillac Escalade while crossing the street.


“The victim was transported to an area hospital and is in critical condition. The driver of the vehicle remained on scene,” police said. “Homicide detectives and collision reconstruction officers have initiated an investigation.”
