BALTIMORE, MARYLAND – The Baltimore Police Department has made an arrest in the homicide of a 22 year-old man on April 2nd in Western Baltimore. This incident happened on the 1300 block of West Baltimore Street.
According to detectives, “At approximately 12:02 a.m., officers responded to the 1300 block of West Baltimore Street for a shooting. Upon arrival, officers found Baltimore City Medics treating a 22-year-old male who was suffering from gunshot wounds. On April 7, 2022, Whittington died from those injuries sustained in the shooting.”
22-year-old Tavon Jamal Green of Baltimore was arrested on June 15th and was charged with 1st degree murder. He was transported to Central Booking Intake Facility.
Police believe the victim was involved in an altercation with an unknown male when that person pulled out a gun and shot the victim.
