BALTIMORE, MD – Father’s Day weekend in Baltimore was bloody with at least 15 people shot and 5 killed across the city. That violence and bloodshed continued into Monday and Tuesday. Early this morning, a 17-year-old boy became the latest victim of gun violence in the city that now resembles a war zone.
Early Tuesday, at approximately 1:16 a.m., Central District patrol officers responded to an area hospital for a report of a walk-in shooting victim. Once there, officers located a 17-year-old male suffering from an apparent gunshot wound.
The victim’s injuries are believed to be non-life-threatening. Police did not say where the shooting occurred.
