D.C. Police Search for Robbery Suspect

WASHINGTON, D.C. – The Washington, D.C. Metro Police Department is investigating a robbery that took place on Sunday. This incident happened on the 1600 block of Connecticut Avenue in Northwest, D.C. The Second District officers are seeking help identifying the suspect.

According to Police, “At approximately 1:54 pm, the suspect entered an establishment and approached an employee at the listed location. The suspect motioned to his coat as if he had a weapon and demanded money from the employee. The victim complied. The suspect fled the scene on a bike.”

Nearby surveillance cameras captured the suspect.
