Newark Fugitive Captured, Charged for 2021 Murder, Triple Shooting in Jersey City

JERSEY CITY, NJ – It was a cold February night in 2021 when members of the Jersey City Police Department responded to a report of shots fired in the area of Old Bergen Road and Neptune Avenue.

The call came in around 10 pm on February 10th. When officers arrived, they found three people shot. One of them, a woman, 30-year-old Raven Harris was dead. The other two were males ages 28 and 29.

The three victims were transported by Emergency Medical Services to Jersey City Medical Center. Harris was pronounced dead at approximately 10:30 p.m. The Northern Regional Medical Examiner’s Office determined the cause of death to be Multiple Gunshot Wounds and the manner of death to be Homicide. The two male victims were treated for their injuries and released.


Today, Jimmy Colclough, 31, was arrested and charged for the murder of Harris and the shooting of the other two victims. He was charged with one count of murder and two counts of attempted murder and has been a wanted fugitive on the run.

On Tuesday, June 21, 2022, members of the United States Marshals Service New York/New Jersey Regional Fugitive Task Force arrested him.

He was arrested at a hotel on Paterson Plank Road in Carlstadt and is being held at the Hudson County Correctional Facility pending his first court appearance.
