TIMONIUM, MD – The Baltimore County Police Department has reported one man has been killed in a motorcycle involved crash in Timonium.
The crash occurred Saturday afternoon at around 3:40 pm.
“A 2021 Suzuki motorcycle was traveling southbound on York Road approaching Crowther Avenue, in Timonium,” BCPD said in a statement today. “A 2006 Toyota 4Runnner was traveling eastbound on Crowther Avenue, then entered the intersection to continue northbound on York Road. The Suzuki then struck the Toyota.”
The operator of the motorcycle, Diego Varela, 23, was pronounced deceased at the scene.
The Baltimore County Police Crash Team continues to investigate this incident.
