NEW YORK, NY – A gay man was assaulted in Manhattan’s Greenwich Village and now police are treating it as a bias crime. That’s because prior to being assaulted the suspects were heard shouting ant-gay and homophobic slurs at the man. The incident happened on June 16th near 29 7th Avenue in Greenwich Village. The unidentified males approached the victim shouting at him, before assaulting him.
